Our staff offers a background of extensive education and experience in the areas of organics, plant care and ecology. Passing along this knowledge and experience is one of the things we most enjoy.
We know that performing the labor is only part of the job. We are dedicated to providing mindful and informed advice in all aspects of landscape planning and maintenance, and we love sharing our creative design skills as well.
Home and business owners as well as municipalities can rely on our ideas and recommendations concerning both new and existing landscapes. We perform soil testing, plant identification, site inspections, plant and hardscape material selection and short- and long-term planning. Storm drainage, erosion prevention, snow and ice considerations, maintenance requirements, sustainability, and respect for the environment are always on our minds.
In addition, we are constantly updating our knowledge in regard to local regulations that affect landscape development, such as wetlands regulations, permitting, invasive species guidelines and regulations, and native plant species.
We’ve also worked on historical sites, restored wetlands and done invasive plant remediation, and we’ve introduced new and improved methods for controlling runoff and erosion. We often represent our customers in dealing with conservation commissions, engineers and municipal building departments.
